What we collect

The answers you give in the Contribute form. Your name, institution, country and email are collected only if you choose to share them. Every question is optional.

Why we collect it

To understand what researchers, policymakers and practitioners need from AMIGOV, and to shape the network's priorities and activities. If you agree, we also use your email to contact you about the network's development, meetings and activities. We do not send regular newsletters.

We store contact details on the basis of your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). Answers may be summarised in anonymised form in reports and presentations about the network.

Who can see it

Only the AMIGOV coordinator responsible for the network's first phase, and the person who runs the website on her behalf. Your information is never sold or shared with third parties.

Where it is stored

In Google Cloud Firestore (Firebase), on servers in the EU (Stockholm, Sweden). The website does not use cookies, tracking or analytics, and its fonts are served from our own domain.

How long we keep it

We keep your contact details for as long as you want to hear from AMIGOV, and review the list once a year. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and we will then delete your contact details.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent. Write to contact@amigov.org. If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you may complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) or the authority in your own country.

Data controller

Cathrine Talleraas, Chr. Michelsen Institute (CMI), Bergen, Norway, on behalf of the AMIGOV interim Executive Committee.
